Bei einem Aufenthalt an der Saint Andrew’s School in Boca Raton (Florida) lernte ich das „IB learner profile“ kennen und schätzen. Die International Baccalaureate Organization definiert mit diesem Profil 10 Eigenschaften, die Kinder und Jugendliche entwickeln sollten, um verantwortungsbewusste, global und offen denkende Bürger zu werden. Viel schöner klingt es auf Englisch:
The aim of all IB programmes is to develop internationally minded people who, recognizing their common humanity and shared guardianship of the planet, help to create a better and more peaceful world. The IB learner profile represents 10 attributes valued by IB World Schools.
